Job summary

Confidential in the United States is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage. Start ASAP with ongoing weekly shifts: Friday 5pm–7am, Saturday 7am–7am, Sunday 7am–7am, with 8–12 hour call blocks.

Practice setting is hospital-based. Credentialing is expected within 60 days; Nebraska licensure (IMLC) is required. Epic EMR used for charting; malpractice insurance typically arranged by AMN Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required
• Licensure in Nebraska/IMLC

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a hospital setting per protocol.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Manage perioperative care and anesthesia records in Epic.

• Required Procedures: Orthopedics, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, gastric bypass, minimal vascular cases, and no pediatric cases.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic
• Certification Required: Board Certified and Basic Life Support, Drug Enforcement Administration
• Licensure: Nebraska/ Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
