Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Kearney, Nebraska. Start ASAP with call coverage daily/weekly, Monday through Friday, 7a–3p or 7a–5p, no night or weekend calls.

Must be board-certified and hold Nebraska license or be eligible for IMLC. EPIC EMR is used; malpractice insurance provided; AMN arranges travel, lodging, rentals and transportation. Competitive on-call pay and dedicated support.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
• Active Nebraska license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily/weekly coverage Monday–Friday (7a–3p or 7a–5p).
• No night or weekend call required.
• Travel, lodging, and on-call logistics handled by AMN.

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Board Certified
• License required or accepting IMLC: Active State Nebraska License/ Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)

Kearney is home to the University of Nebraska which was founded in 1905. The city’s Moto is: “The Heart of Nebraska”. There are two microbreweries there as well as the Museum of Nebraska art which houses artifacts from 175 years ago, as far back as the 19th century.
