Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Overland Park, KS. The role offers weekday, day-shift coverage with a 40-hour workweek and no on-call requirements. Start date ASAP, with competitive hourly pay and full travel support provided by AMN Healthcare.

The selected physician will work alongside a care team (1 MD/3 CRNAs) in a facility featuring 2 operating rooms on Mon-Wed and 3 POS Thu-Fri, utilizing paper charting. KS license required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Anesthesiology physician board-certified with current credentials.
• Licensed to practice in Kansas or eligible for licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology coverage five days a week, Monday to Friday.
• Maintain patient safety and manage anesthesia care per protocol.
• Collaborate with care team including CRNAs.

This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Call & Requirements: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts only, Generally 7am-3pm. Guaranteed 40 hours per week; Must be full time; No Call
• Supervision vs Independent: Care team (1 MD/3 CRNAs)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Paper charting
• Certifications required:Board Certification, ACLS, BLS, CSR
• Number of Operating Rooms: 2 POS run Mon-Wed, 3 POS run Thurs and Fri
• License Required or accepting IMLC: Kansas license required
