Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks an experienced general anesthesiologist to join St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. The role offers a shift-based model at a Level II trauma center with a broad surgical portfolio including OB, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neurosurgery and more.

The compensation ranges from $600,000 to $700,000 per year, with starting bonus, relocation assistance and additional income opportunities; PSLF eligibility is noted as an employer benefit.

Qualifications

• Completed ACGME Accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Certified Anesthesiology (ABA).
• 2+ years of experience following training.
• State of Washington Medical License in good standing.
• No history of license actions or disciplinary matters.
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority for practice.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Not considering J-1 Visa applicants.

Responsibilities

• Provide general anesthesia for a tertiary care trauma center.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and critical care colleagues.
• Support program needs with a shift-based model.

We have a opening for an experienced anesthesiologist to join our collaborative care team at St Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Surgical specialties include OB, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Trauma, ENT as well as Gastroenterology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, and NeuroInterventional RadiologyComp Range: $600,000 - $700,000 /year. Shift Based Model General Anesthesiologist position at tertiary care trauma center. Starting Bonus, plus relocation assistance, Extra Income Available, and Employer Eligible for PSLF.
