Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in the Albany, NY area. Start date ASAP with day shifts (7:30am–5:00pm) and required call. Work within a physician-led supervision model using CPRS EMR across seven operating rooms.

Board-certified or board-eligible, ACLS and BLS are required; unrestricted state license (IMLC accepted). AMN provides malpractice coverage and travel/lodging support.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Unrestricted state medical license; IMLC accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology care in a 7-operating room facility.
• Physician-led supervision model with day shifts; call required.

This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Call and requirements: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 5:00pm (call is required)
• Supervision vs independent: Physician-led team supervisory model
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): CPRS
• Certifications required: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required
• Number of operating rooms: 7
• License required or accepting IMLC: Any unrestricted state license
