The Opportunity:
- Work with Medical Directors to review site performance, address problems, and ensure profitability.
- Review monthly performance reports and implement corrective actions.
- Assist MDs with issues related to payers, accounts receivable, etc.
- Monitor site contributions and subsidies.
- Negotiate managed care contracts affecting sites in your region.
- Manage debt forgiveness when applicable.
- Lead or assist in contract negotiations with payers and hospitals.
- Operate new sites within budget.
- Optimize incentives and ensure contract compliance.
- Manage start-ups, Year One, and Hot Spot calls.
- Seek approval for subsidy increases from the COO.
- Ensure operational and quality performance at sites.
- Support MDs in resolving operational or financial issues.
- Ensure high-quality medical care across practice lines.
- Identify and implement opportunities for practice line integration.
- Engage in collaboratives, set the tone, and hold teams accountable.
- Allocate resources effectively within the region.
- Collaborate on initiatives like performance improvement and site start-ups.
- Lead regional site in Vituity collaboratives.
- Maintain oversight of site metrics and operational processes.
- Provide leadership to partners and employees.
- Onboard, mentor, and evaluate Medical Directors.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new providers.
- Represent Vituity and communicate policies and procedures.
- Work clinically at struggling sites as needed.
- Promote inclusivity and equity within Vituity.
- Lead with integrity, recognizing individual contributions.
- Ensure compliance and timely sign-off on administrative tasks.
- Participate in leadership development programs.
- Maintain regional relationships with hospitals and healthcare leaders.
- Respond promptly to communications.
- Build and sustain relationships with hospital administration and medical staff.
- Serve on Vituity committees and workgroups.
- Handle emergency responsibilities for Medical Directors.
- Mentor regional staff and medical directors.
- Address partner and provider issues proactively.
- Participate in divisional meetings and provide organizational updates.
- Ensure proper onboarding, education, and training of MDs.
- Identify opportunities for new business and report to leadership.
- Engage in new business development and service line expansion.
- Manage contract renewal processes and negotiations.
- Facilitate practice line integration in startups and existing sites.
- Coordinate with other regional directors for contract stability.
- Maintain relationships with hospital and medical staff to ensure alignment.
- Ensure providers understand their fiduciary obligations.
- Model and communicate Vituity’s values and culture.
- Collaborate with peers to improve performance.
- Meet organizational goals within the region.
- Contribute to division-wide meetings and initiatives.
- Promote Vituity’s mission, values, and culture.
- Work with partnership and CPAC on provider issues.
- Maintain open communication with hospital partners and key stakeholders.
- Address conflicts and issues among staff and medical teams.
- Encourage provider participation in hospital committees.
- Build relationships with hospital boards and foundations where appropriate.
- Respond efficiently to all inquiries.
- Align with partnership strategies and initiatives, effectively communicating at the site level.
- Represent Vituity as an advocate and communicate organizational messages confidently.
- Provide feedback from VPs and leadership.
