Exciting Opportunity for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Join a highly regarded comprehensive medical group in the metro Phoenix area as a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist.

About the Medical Center

The Medical Center is a community-based, university-affiliated teaching facility, with ACS verified and designated as a Level 1 Adult Trauma and Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center.

Clinical Practice

The practice includes:

1. L&D, neonatal, and general pediatric surgery
2. General surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma
3. Orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR
4. TEE equipment is available for perioperative and critical care patients

Approximately 11,000 anesthesia encounters are generated per year. In-house call is 4-5 times per month. The position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with high-acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students. This teaching environment offers opportunities for academic appointments through our university affiliations.
