The role supports a broad range of case types including cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, and neurosurgical procedures with BLS and ACLS required, and licensure accepted from any state.

The position offers travel and lodging support, malpractice coverage, and dedicated credentialing assistance, with weekday hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active medical license in any state.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services per schedule for procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams across multiple case types.
• Maintain patient safety and standards during anesthesia care.

Medicus is partnering with a medical center in Albany, New York, with a contract assignment for an Anesthesiologist to assist their team.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5:30p
• Beeper Call: Weeknights (5:30p-7a) and weekends (24-hour)
• Case Types: Cardiac surgery, orthopedic joint replacements, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, plastics, ENT, urology, etc.
• EMR: CPRS
• Must be board-certified or board-eligible
• Any state license accepted
• Paid travel & expenses
• BLS and ACLS required
