Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of the research and organizes work to meet study times.
• Carries out major experimental protocol events including EKGs, phlebotomy, urine collection, vital signs.
• Interacts with participants, investigators, and other research staff.
• Sets up and monitors data collection equipment.
• Collects and processes specimens (blood, urine, saliva) per protocol.
• Performs standardized tests on materials/subjects.
• Completes study forms and documentation as needed.
• Travels to other hospital departments for research procedures.
