Job summary

Wander Staffing seeks board-certified/eligible Anesthesiologists for a long-term Federal contract at the VA Health Care System in Salem, VA. Mon-Fri daytime schedule, no call, 2500–3000 annual cases across multiple procedures. Compensation is $410/hr on a 1099, all-inclusive with malpractice coverage tail.

Licensure in any U.S. state allowed; US citizenship required. Anticipated start September 21, 2026, credentialing and onboarding subject to contract award.

Qualifications

• Citizen of the United States.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible by the ABAC.
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or DCCurrent BLS and ACLS.
• Current DEA certificate and NPI number.

Responsibilities

• Personally perform anesthesia approximately 30% of the time.
• Medically direct CRNAs.
• Work within the VA Salem Health Care System department to support 5 CRNAs and growing team.
• Coordinate with OR scheduling and credentialing to ensure timely patient care.
