Job summary

Prime Saint Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL is seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures. You will perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, discuss anesthetic plans with patients, and manage induction through emergence, while monitoring physiologic status and supporting departmental leadership.

Board-eligible or -certified physicians with MD/DO degrees and active licensure are invited to apply; per diem opportunities are available

• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.

Position Requirements Description Anesthesiologist career at award-winning PRIME Saint Mary’s Hospital near outdoor adventure along the Kankakee River in IL PRIME St. Mary’s Kankakee Hospital has delivered high-quality healthcare to Kankakee, IL, and its southern suburbs with a commitment to community and compassion since 1897. In a welcoming setting, the 182-bed acute care facility provides award-winning services for primary and specialty care. The peritoneal dialysis unit, one of just 91 in the United States, is recognized nationally. PRIME St. Mary’s Kankakee has a state-of-the-art Family Birthing Center dedicated to expectant and new parents. Working together in a collegial environment, the anesthesia team provides services for five or six operating rooms daily. These clinicians include three anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs working in our care team model. This care team model means that we focus on ensuring everyone has a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Total Rewards Hourly Rate: $380 W2 / $390 1099

Case Assignments

• Ortho, GI, Urology, OB, Ophthalmology and General Surgery

Key Responsibilities
