Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an Anesthesiologist for PRIME Saint Mary’s Hospital near the Kankakee River in Illinois. The anesthesia team supports five or six operating rooms daily in a collegial care model with three anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs.

The position requires MD or DO, completion of Anesthesiology Residency, Board eligible or Board Certified, current medical licensure, and ECFMG/FLEX if applicable. Pay is $380/hour (W2) or $390/hour (1099) with per diem.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
