Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) seeks an Anesthesiologist to provide onsite services at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. The role covers comprehensive anesthesia for general, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, and more, with pre-op evaluations and intra-op management.

You will oversee airway management, regional and general anesthesia, invasive monitoring, ICU/PACU support, and emergency airway care. On-call nights, weekends, and federal holidays are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified (ABA preferred).
• AHA BLS & ACLS (current).
• DEA license.
• NPI number.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for various surgical specialties.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and intra-operative anesthesia management.
• Manage airway, regional/local/general anesthesia, and invasive monitoring.
• Provide anesthesia support for ICU, PACU, and emergency care.
• Respond to consults at bedside or clinic as needed.
• Provide on-call coverage on weeknights, weekends, and federal holidays.
• Be available by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes while on call.

Johnson VA Medical Center located at 1 Medical Center Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesiology services for:
  • General, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgical, ENT, urologic, ophthalmologic, plastic, and cardiac surgeries
  • GI, radiology, MRI, cath lab, and ECT procedures
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and intra-operative anesthesia management
• Manage:
  • Airway (basic and advanced)
  • Regional, local, and general anesthesia
  • Invasive monitoring (arterial lines, central lines, PA catheters)
  • Acute and chronic pain management
• Provide anesthesia support for:
  • ICU patients
  • PACU issues
  • Emergency airway management
• Respond to consults at bedside or clinic as needed
• Provide on-call coverage:
  • Weeknights
  • Weekends
  • Federal holidays
• Be available by phone within 15 minutes and on-site within 60 minutes while on call
