iRecruitmd in Abilene, TX seeks an experienced Anesthesiologist to lead perioperative care for patients undergoing surgery and procedures. You will evaluate patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care; managing airway, ventilation, hemodynamics, and fluids; and supervising CRNAs and trainees.

Qualificações

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology.
• Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• ACLS and BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Monitor vital signs and physiologic status during procedures.
• Manage airway, ventilation, hemodynamics, and fluid balance.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia care team members.
• Supervise and provide medical direction to CRNAs and trainees as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and compliance initiatives.
