Job description

Join a high-volume anesthesia team in Pennsylvania covering a wide range of cases (excluding hearts and neonates) with CRNA support across multiple campuses.

Highlights

  • 3:1 to 4:1 case ratios with CRNA support
  • Weekly pay and indefinite assignment

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient
  • Rotation across four campuses in the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN)
  • CRNAs provided for all cases; medically directed model
  • EPIC charting

Schedule

  • 5 days per week, as many weeks as possible
  • 8- or 10-hour shifts
  • Minimum 2 weeks per month required
  • Call negotiable (12- or 24-hour shifts with post-call day off)

Procedures and Cases

  • General anesthesia, MAC, regional, and post-op blocks (extremities and TAP blocks)
  • OB included
  • No hearts or neonates
  • 70,000-80,000 cases annually
  • High-acuity, fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Board certified in Anesthesiology
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Active Pennsylvania license (no license wait)
  • Experience managing high-volume, medically directed cases

Credentialing and Travel

  • Credentialing: ~60 days
  • Travel and lodging provided
