Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Yonkers, NY, seeks a dedicated Anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia services at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers and at Andrus and Dobbs Ferry locations, covering OR and non-OR areas including obstetric anesthesia, with day shifts and beeper calls to support 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities include pre-op evaluations, intraoperative and postoperative care, emergency airway management, and participation in in-house call rotations; supervision of CRNAs up to

Qualifications

• MD or DO with anesthesia residency completed.
• Board eligible or board certified in anesthesiology.
• NY State Medical License.
• Strong communication and clinical skills; OB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anesthesia services for a broad range of surgical specialties.
• Deliver anesthesia in non-operating room locations such as endoscopy.
• Provide obstetric anesthesia coverage, including labor analgesia and C-sections.
• Conduct pre-op evaluations and manage intraoperative and postoperative care.
• Participate in emergency airway management, rapid responses, and code team duties.
• Participate in the in-house call and beeper call rotation for immediate hospital coverage.
• Provide coverage solo and via anesthesia care team model; CRNA supervision of up to 3-4 rooms.
