Job summary

CompHealth is seeking an anesthesiologist for night shifts in Hartford, CT, working from 5 pm to 7 am, five nights a week including weekends. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of 2 CRNAs, residents, and attending physicians to provide anesthesia for a wide range of cases, excluding cardiac and liver.

The practice consists of 75 anesthesiologists and 55 CRNAs, fostering a collegial environment, and offers a generous vacation and full benefits package.

Job Responsibilities

• Night shifts from 5 pm to 7 am, five nights per week including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Work alongside 2 CRNAs, 2 residents, and one other attending each shift
• Perform anesthesia for general, OB, neuro, ortho, and pediatric cases (no cardiac or liver cases)
• Collaborate with a large physician‑owned private‑practice and academic hybrid group serving 8 hospitals and 20+ ambulatory centers statewide

Work Environment

• Practice includes 75 anesthesiologists and 55 CRNAs in a collegial, well‑established setting
