A health system is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

This opportunity is with a 114-bed hospital that uses EPIC (HealthSpan) for its EMR system and includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The schedule includes Monday-to-Monday coverage for three date blocks : August 1118, September 115, and November 310. Providers must be able to start surgery within 30 minutes of call back and will participate in daily call, including shared epidural call with three CRNAs. The facility handles approximately 150 surgical cases and 100 endoscopy procedures monthly, with anesthesiologists seeing 1215 patients per day and averaging 8 admissions daily and 6 nightly. The provider will also serve as backup for difficult intubations and spinals in the ER and ICU. There will be a range of procedures including general surgery, ortho, OB / GYN, and dental peds. Air and ground support are available for immediate patient transfers.
