Job description

A fast-paced level 2 trauma center is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located near Salem, Oregon.

This position requires MDs to be 100% hands-on, working Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 : 30 PM with no call responsibilities. As a Level 2 trauma center, the case mix includes trauma, general, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, urology, vascular, retina, gynecology, occasional ENT, healthy pediatrics, electrophysiology, GI, and pulmonology procedures. Anesthesiologists will also manage a high volume of outpatient surgeries, requiring quick turnovers and an understanding of outpatient care philosophy. Strong ultrasound, regional, and neuraxial skills are essential, as the Salem team has a busy regional service. The facility utilizes an effective AIC model to support hospital partners.
