Job description

A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

Longview, Texas, is known for its fine dining and historic downtown! While on assignment, you can enjoy delicious meals, shopping, and more!

The schedule is Monday through Friday with 4 MDs daily and 1 : 4 med direction (occasionally higher). Beeper call is required with a 30-minute response time; CRNAs cover epidurals while MDs handle c-sections and OR cases. Call back happens about 30% of the time, often until 10 PM. The team includes 23.68 CRNAs and 5.62 MDs, and the case mix includes OB (2,100 annually), CV (about 150 annually), pain, eyes, and endo. There are 16 points of service daily, with 4 located at an ASC. CV and block experience is preferred but not required. EMR is currently on paper.
