Weatherby Healthcare is seeking physicians for a hospital-based assignment in Oregon. You’ll cover general and major trauma cases in a Level I trauma center, with OB/GYN, thoracic, complex vascular, and neuro requirements. Blocks managed by the acute pain team; cardiac/pediatrics/transplants not involved.

The position offers paid malpractice, travel and housing reimbursement, and Weatherby’s 24-hour consultant support. Weekend options include 10-hour shifts, with OT available as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in general and major trauma cases.
• OB/GYN, thoracic, vascular and neuro coverage.
• Ability to manage complex orthopedic, urology, plastics cases.

Responsabilités

• Provide trauma coverage during day shifts.
• Collaborate with acute pain team for blocks and pain management.
• Adhere to hospital protocols in a Level I trauma setting.

Description du poste

• M-F, 7 am - 5 pm -- open to weekend 10-hour day shifts
• Roughly 1 - 3 hours of OT per week -- no night call required
• 133 adult cases per weekday
• Hospital setting -- Level I trauma services provided
• ASA 1 - 6, mostly 2 - 4, CMI of 2.3
• General, major trauma, OB/GYN, thoracic, complex vascular, neuro required
• Complex orthopedics, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, cath lab, IR sedation
• No cardiac, pediatrics, or transplants -- blocks managed by acute pain team
