Position Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking an Anesthesiologist and Intensivist to join our expanding team. This full-time position involves dedicated weeks on service in the CVICU, along with anesthesiology practice in the OR and off-site locations at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.

Casework and Schedule

• 8-12 weeks on service in the CVICU (negotiable), with home call overnight. Oversight of a growing team of APPs caring for postoperative cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and TAVR patients
• Remaining clinical weeks include general OR coverage, OB, and healthy pediatric cases
• OR call responsibilities are adjusted based on ICU service weeks

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine is required
• Ability to sit for the ABA Subspecialty Certification in Critical Care Medicine
• Additional advanced training or experience beyond fellowship is preferred but not mandatory
• Eligible for Michigan licensure
• Research and education interests are a plus but not required
