About the Position

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking an Anesthesiologist and Intensivist to join our expanding group. This full‑time position includes dedicated weeks on service in the CVICU and time practicing anesthesiology in the OR and off‑site locations at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.

Casework and Schedule

• 8-12 weeks on CVICU service (negotiable) with home call overnight; oversee a growing team of APPs caring for postoperative cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and TAVR patients.
• Remaining clinical weeks include general OR coverage, OB, and some healthy pediatric cases.
• OR call responsibilities adjusted in proportion to ICU service weeks.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine required
• Ability to sit for the ABA Subspecialty Certification in Critical Care Medicine
• Eligible for Michigan licensure
• Research and education experience and interests preferred but not required
• Additional advanced training or experience beyond fellowship is welcomed but not required
