Job summary

HealthYes Staffing Network in Northern Maine seeks an Anesthesiologist for a hospital-employed role with flexible block scheduling options. Choose two weeks on and two weeks off or one week on and three weeks off, supporting a meaningful balance between clinical leadership and patient care.

The incumbent will supervise CRNAs, provide direct anesthesia care as needed, and lead an experienced anesthesia team within a 5-OR hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an ACGME/ABA accredited Anesthesiology residency and be board-certified or board-eligible.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Maine medical license and hospital privileges.
• H-1B candidates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients before surgery and determine anesthesia plan.
• Provide or direct anesthesia services and manage perioperative risk.
• Supervise and medically direct CRNAs.
• Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Manage difficult airways and anesthesia-related emergencies.
• Participate in call rotation and collaborate with surgical teams.
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation.
