Job summary

East Texas Regional Medical Center in East Texas is seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join a 9-attending and 27-CRNA team. The role offers a 50-hour work week on average with home call, coverage of main ORs, cath lab, and ASC, and a strong emphasis on quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Board certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) required or new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a high-volume operation suite across major vascular, orthopedics, regional anesthesia cases.
• Support a Level II trauma center with comprehensive anesthesia services; collaboration with CRNAs in a team-based model.
• Share home call duties with favorable scheduling (1:8 weeknights, 1:5 weekends) and a ~50-hour work week.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement, efficiency, and team development initiatives.
