Job summary

UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking highly talented anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at the 520-bed hospital. A qualified anesthesiologist will be ABA board-eligible or certified and qualify for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Opportunities in acute pain, cardiac, and other subspecialties may be available for fellowship-trained or experienced candidates. Schedule daytime coverage Monday–Friday with varying shifts; call includes in-house OB and beeper coverage.

Qualifications

• A qualified anesthesiologist will be ABA board-eligible or certified and qualify for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Responsibilities

• General position; opportunities in acute pain as well as cardiac and anesthesiology are available for candidates with fellowship training or substantial experience in these subspecialties.
• Schedule: daylight coverage M-F / 6:30a- 3:30p / 6:30a - 5:30p / 6:30a - 7:30p
• Call: All days - beeper call and in-house OB call, 7:00 p - 7:00a
• CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
• Hospital has 23 anesthesiologists and 24 CRNAs
