Job Description

The Department of Anesthesiology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University is seeking candidates who are fellowship-trained in critical care medicine. Full-time positions are available at either our Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Center City, Philadelphia, PA, or our Abington Hospital - Jefferson Health in Abington, PA.

Responsibilities include coverage in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) and general anesthesia operating services. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding professional credibility, proven ability to lead high-performing teams, and excellent communication skills.

Applicants should have an interest in teaching and will be expected to actively participate in educating residents and fellows. Time is allocated for academic, scholarly, and administrative pursuits. Board certification or eligibility and Pennsylvania licensure are required. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.
