Overview

Join a premier anesthesiology team in scenic southeastern Massachusetts. Southcoast Health is seeking board‑certified/board‑eligible anesthesiologists to join our dynamic group. We offer flexible scheduling, a diverse case mix, and a market‑leading compensation package tailored to your lifestyle and career goals.

Compensation structure: Base $625k for two calls/month; $575k base with $50k annual quality bonus. Incentivized call schedule with potential $100k to $230k in extra income. Flexible scheduling options include 4‑ and 5‑day week options.

Salary and benefits:

• Flexible schedule: 4‑day (80% compensation/benefits) or 5‑day.
• Competitive base salary, yearly quality bonus, and voluntary incentivized call structure above minimum call requirement.
• In‑house hospital and home call options.
• Sign‑on bonus: $100K without loan assistance, $75K with loan assistance.
• Student loan assistance: $25K per year for 3 years for early‑career physicians.
• Employer‑sponsored 403(b) retirement plan with 6% match after 2 years, payment in lieu of match for first 2 years of $20K. Additional retirement vehicle available.
• CME allowance.
• 7‑8 weeks PTO.
• Reimbursement of licenses, society dues, and exam fees.

Practice model: We offer both a team model with typical 1:2 or 1:3 coverage and solo practice in the hospital and surgery center. A hybrid model of cardiac and general OR may be available for interested candidates.

Call sites:

• St. Luke’s Hospital – in‑house call coverage with CRNA call‑in. Level II trauma centre with OB services.
• Charlton Memorial Hospital – in‑house call coverage with CRNA call‑in. OR and OB services.
• Tobey Hospital – incentivized compensated call from home (limited work past 7 PM).
• Faunce Corner and Stanley Street Surgery Center – outpatient surgery (ENT, ortho, pain, plastics, endo).

Pay Range

USD $485,000.00 – USD $650,000.00 per year.
