Job summary

Your Talent Team is assisting a well-established hospital in Rutland, Vermont, in hiring a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative anesthesia team. This full-time daytime position includes 3–4 weekday call shifts per month and the opportunity to work with CAAs and CRNAs in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia evaluations, regional and general anesthesia, MAC, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative pain management, with

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Vermont medical license.
• Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileges.
• Current ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based anesthesia model.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, CRNAs, and CAAs
• Participate in shared weekday call schedule (3–4 shifts per month on average)
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, credentialing, and quality standards

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a well-established, collaborative anesthesia team serving as the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at a community hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive group of Anesthesiologists working alongside CAAs and CRNAs in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
