Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join outpatient ASC centers in the Greater Philadelphia area. The role offers predictable weekday schedules with no nights or weekends and a pathway to partnership for the right candidate.

In this ambulatory setting, you will supervise CRNAs, manage a diverse case mix across specialties, and contribute to ongoing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the ABA.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Experience or strong interest in ambulatory anesthesia and outpatient surgical care.
• DEA license and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia supervision and care for outpatient surgical cases at multiple ASCs in the Philadelphia region.
• Supervise CRNAs in delivering safe anesthesia care.
• Manage anesthesia for orthopedic, gastroenterology, pediatric dental, cardiology, and other outpatient cases.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality outcomes in the ASC setting.
• Collaborate with surgeons, teams, and staff to ensure optimal results.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical performance initiatives.
• Optional availability for additional shifts with expanded case variety.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia supervision and care for outpatient surgical cases at multiple ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) throughout the Philadelphia region
• Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care
• Manage anesthesia for a diverse case mix including orthopedic surgery, gastroenterology procedures, pediatric dental cases, cardiology, and other specialty outpatient procedures
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and satisfaction in the ASC setting
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical performance initiatives
• Optional availability for additional shifts with expanded case variety based on personal preference

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Experience or strong interest in ambulatory anesthesia and outpatient surgical care
• Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work autonomously in the ASC environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
