Job summary

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Sun City Center, FL is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative anesthesia team. This role offers a balanced work-life with a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule, totaling about 13 weeks of time off per year.

The practice features a 4 Anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs team across 4 ORs plus 2 NORA locations, with flexibility to supervise or perform cases as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (within four years of residency).
• Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Current Florida DEA registration or ability to obtain unrestricted DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Care Team model of 4 Anesthesiologists and 4 CRNAs across 4 ORs plus 2 NORA locations.
• Supervision model with flexibility to medically direct or perform cases as needed.
• Diverse case mix including Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Neurosurgery, GI, Bariatric Surgery.
• No obstetrics, cardiac, or pediatric cases; approx. 3,600 cases annually.
