Job summary

Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center in Suffolk, VA is seeking an anesthesiologist to join the team. Great work/life balance in a respected hospital system with light call and a two weeks on, one week off schedule.

You will provide anesthesia across orthopaedic, general, urology, plastics, ENT, vascular and gynecologic cases, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, discuss plans with patients, and lead intraoperative care, with opportunities for career advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board-eligible or Board-Certified.
• Current medical licensure.
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patient status and intervene as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
