Qualifications

• Fellowship training in cardiothoracic anesthesiology and/or critical care medicine.
• Certification in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Experience with complex cardiac and transplant surgeries.
• Strong commitment to education and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Providing perioperative anesthesia care for diverse and complex surgical cases.
• Mentoring and educating fellows and residents in a cardiothoracic fellowship program.

Job description

Seeking an Anesthesiologist with expertise in Cardiothoracic and Critical Care Medicine to join a leading academic division.

The role involves managing complex cardiac, thoracic, and transplant cases, including heart-lung, heart-liver, and aortic surgeries, as well as supporting a high-acuity CTICU and active mechanical circulatory support programs like LVAD and ECMO.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing perioperative anesthesia care for diverse and complex surgical cases
• Mentoring and educating fellows and residents in a highly regarded cardiothoracic fellowship program
• Participating in clinical activities across a dynamic, multidisciplinary team

Qualifications And Skills

• Fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and/or Critical Care Medicine
• National Board of Echocardiography Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography
• Experience with complex cardiac and transplant surgeries
• Strong commitment to education and patient care excellence
