Base pay range: $409,000.00/yr - $419,000.00/yr.

Location: NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, New York, NY. The department averages about 160 cases per week and is supported by an active OB team that performed 1,580 deliveries last year. The hospital has 8 main operating rooms, 2 cystoscopy rooms, 2 labor and delivery ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, and 1 interventional radiology room. NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln is located about 15 minutes from NYC and is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Responsibilities

• On-call responsibilities are well supported by three attendings in-house for nights and weekends.
• Two attendings manage main OR cases; a third is dedicated to labor and delivery.
• Minimum of four calls per month required.
• Weekday calls: 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. (16 hours).
• Weekend calls: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. (24 hours).
• CRNAs and residents work in a 1:2 supervision ratio.
• Approximately 40% of cases are performed solo and 60% under supervision.
• Anesthesiology residents from New York Medical College rotate through the facility; five residents graduate per year. Residents also take in-house call.
• Oral and maxillofacial surgery rotators work during the day, contributing to the educational environment.
