Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Grand Island, NE, invites an Anesthesiologist (Board Certified or Eligible) to join a collegial team in a modern operating suite with new ORs and a DaVinci Xi robot.

You’ll provide anesthesia for diverse cases (General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Neuroscience) and benefit from strong hospital support, a favorable work‑life balance, and mentorship. License and DEA in Nebraska required; call 1 in 6; 9 weeks + 6 holidays off.

Qualifications

• American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Nebraska State license required.
• Nebraska DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for diverse cases (General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Neuroscience).
• Collaborate with surgical teams and hospital staff to ensure patient safety.
• Mentor and support anesthesia team members and maintain high standards of perioperative care.

Opportunity Highlights

• New, integral position as we expand our services to meet community demand
• The Anesthesia team provides anesthesia services at both CHI Health St. Francis & Grand Island Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Diverse case mix: General, Orthopedic, OBGYN, Urology, ENT, Neuroscience
• Practice in new Operating Rooms (opened 2021), featuring advanced technology including a new DaVinci Xi robot.
• Robust hospital support with strong Hospitalist and Intensivist programs along with multiple subspecialty physicians.

• Call Requirement: 1 in 6
• Compensation Range: $484,410 - $514,410 / Year
