Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have 2 years of anesthesia experience.
• Medical math/drug calculations.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations and interviews, reviewing care plans and records.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications and vaccines, and maintaining records.
• Assist during surgery and operations and provide nursing care as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain sterile environment and proper handling of instruments and supplies.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and follow up on treatment plans.
