Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technologist to join the Anesthesia Care Team in New York. You will perform pre-operative tasks, assist in intra-operative procedures, and support licensed anesthesia providers with assessments, line insertions, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent, plus certification.
• Current Anesthesia Technologist Certification and ACLS required.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia staff with invasive monitoring setup and line insertions.
• Maintain and prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Prepare patient for anesthesia and assist with perioperative monitoring after induction.
• Troubleshoot anesthesia delivery systems and assist with safety and infection control practices.
• Educate new staff and participate in ongoing training.
