Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Colorado is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff. You will help ensure equipment is ready, assist with patient transfers, and maintain a safe, clean environment throughout the surgical journey.

The role involves reviewing surgery schedules, setting up carts, and upholding infection prevention practices while protecting patient privacy and rights. The position requires BCLS within 30 days and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.
