Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• May be certified as an OR Technician/ Certified Anesthesia Technician or have at least one year of experience in surgical services in the OR.
• CPR required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute health care setting, preferably in the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles, and maintains anesthesia equipment.
• Monitors and tests anesthesia equipment to ensure efficient operation of the OR service.
• Maintains availability of all supplies required to perform anesthesia services.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related care considerations for patients.
