Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to stock anesthetic supplies, maintain equipment, and ensure readiness for every case. You will support clinicians, assist with patient setup, and manage deliveries and restocking across the OR areas.

The role requires a High School diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs. Prior OR experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and accurate equipment handling.

Qualifications

• High School education completed.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Lift and move anesthesia equipment and supplies over 50 lbs.
• One year of OR experience and familiarity with OR terminology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain anesthesia machines and monitoring equipment, ensure proper setup and safety.
• Coordinate deliveries and restock storage areas; notify supervisor of issues.
• Assist clinicians with setup, patient preparation and turnover of rooms.
• Handle drug maintenance, gas cylinders and equipment checks as required.
• Ensure a neat patient care environment and maintain proper supplies.
