CareWell Health is seeking an Anesthesia Equipment Technician to support the operation and maintenance of anesthesia delivery systems, ancillary devices, and monitors in the OR. You will clean, assemble, calibrate, troubleshoot anesthesia tools, restock carts, and verify supply expiration dates under RN supervision.
Responsibilities include maintaining the anesthesia environment, handling gases and bulk cylinders safely, checking batteries in laryngoscope handles, updating inventory, and
Knowledgeable of the operation and maintenance of anesthesia delivery systems, ancillary devices, and monitors. Cleaning, assembling, calibrating, and troubleshooting anesthesia tools and equipment. Use of mechanical and electronic maintenance and testing devices to ensure proper functioning of equipment. Restocks anesthesia cart in each OR suite. Checks batteries is laryngoscope handle. Checks expiration date of items in anesthesia carts and anesthesia supply room. Cleans bins/drawers holding anesthesia related supplies in carts, supply room, and ventilator drawers. Notifies nurses or scrub techs when supplies are running low. Works under the direction of the RN or anesthesia care provider.

High school diploma required.
On feet most of the time and moves heavy equipment.
Exposed to unpleasant odors and communicable diseases. Encounters stress, crisis, emergencies, trauma and death. Interacts with health team members and other hospital and referral agency personnel.
