Job description

$19.11 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.

These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These roles focus on the preparation, performance, and post‑operative support to surgical teams. Responsibilities include sterilization, instrument preparation and handling, and operational or hands‑on support required during surgery. May work in our hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics, and have responsibilities from planning and preparation to recovery and follow‑up. Does not include perioperative nurses. Individual contributors who provide support to an organization, often in direct service, operational, technical or administrative functions, spend the majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Fully competent and productive individual contributor. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Makes minor adjustments to working methods. Communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience required. Experience as CNA, EMT, PCT or CMA highly preferred.
  • Licensure: BLS certification required. Additional certifications/licensure may be required for the position. Please see position requisition for specific requirements.
Physical Demands

Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 25-50 lbs. Working in environment with fumes, chemicals, vibrations, heat, noise, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
