UTMB Health seeks a skilled anesthesia equipment technician to prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment for surgical procedures in the Galveston area. The role involves setting up anesthesia machines, intubation equipment, and monitoring devices, ensuring readiness for various procedures, and maintaining sterile, safe conditions in the operating rooms.

The candidate will also manage inventory, restock supplies, and follow internal controls and reporting structures.

Formación

• Three years related experience in anesthesia equipment or OR setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in preparing operation rooms for a variety of anesthetic procedures.
• Sets up anesthetic machine, tracheal intubation, monitoring equipment, and other supplies peculiar to type of anesthesia.
• Cleans anesthetic machine and other equipment after completion of anesthesia.
• Maintains inventory records and orders, stores, and distributes anesthesia supplies, drugs and equipment.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required.

Job Summary/Description:

To provide technical skills in the preparation of all anesthesia equipment used during surgical and related medical procedures.

Job Duties:

• Assists in preparing operation rooms for a variety of anesthetic procedures.
• Sets up anesthetic machine, tracheal intubation, monitoring equipment, and other supplies peculiar to type of anesthesia.
• Cleans anesthetic machine and other equipment after completion of anesthesia.
• Maintains inventory records and orders, stores, and distributes anesthesia supplies, drugs and equipment.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required.

Salary Range:

Actual salary commensurate with experience or range if discussed and approved by hiring authority.
