Job summary

MaineHealth's Maine Medical Center is seeking an entry-level Anesthesia Technician to stock, clean and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies across care areas. Training is provided, and there is a $2000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires.

The role supports anesthesia with difficult airways, troubleshoots equipment and assists with complex cases; high school diploma preferred; prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Anesthesia Technician role performs duties necessary to stock, clean and maintain equipment, drugs and supplies necessary to deliver anesthesia care in a variety of locations.
• Assists with difficult airways, troubleshoots equipment and assists anesthesia with difficult cases.
