Job Description

  • Post-Operative Accountabilities: Participate in training and orientation of new staff members post-case, and prepare anesthesia equipment for subsequent use.
  • Operative Procedure Accountabilities: Apply all equipment used in the operative care of anesthetized patients and perform duties under the direction of the anesthesiologist, CRNA, manager, or lead technician.
  • Pre-Operative Accountabilities: Prepare the patient and machine interface for anesthesia delivery, assist in sterile preparation, and facilitate placement of monitoring lines.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Associate’s Degree in Anesthesia Technology OR two years’ experience as an Anesthesia Tech or Critical Care Tech (Required)
  • Completion of Anesthesia Tech Program (Preferred)
  • ACLS Certification or certification by the American Association of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) (Preferred)
  • Cardiac experience (Preferred)
