Job summary

Gundersen Health System is hiring for a healthcare support role in Wisconsin. This position offers 0.5 FTE, with 40 hours bi-weekly and rotating Day and PM shifts from early morning to late afternoon.

Eligibility includes a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS for healthcare workers. CNA or EMT credentials (or equivalent) may apply, with strong teamwork and reliability required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• BLS for healthcare workers.
• CNA certification or alternate credentials as listed (CNA, EMT-B, EMT-P, etc.).

Responsibilities

• 0.5 FTE, 40 hours bi-weekly.
• Rotation of Day and PM shifts.
• Weekend/holiday rotation on-call about every other month.

What You Do

• 0.5 FTE, 40 hours bi-weekly


• Rotation of Day and PM shifts: 500am-1:30pm, 600am-2:30pm, 6:30am-3:00pm, 6:45am -3:15pm ,11:00am-7:30pm and 1:30pm-10:00pm


• Weekend/holiday rotation- on-call (about every other month or so)

What You Need

• High School Diploma or equivalency


• BLS for healthcare workers


• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR
  National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) OR
  National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (NREMT-P) OR
  Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) OR


• An associate degree in Anesthesia Technology can be accepted in lieu of certification
