Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for a travel assignment in Palo Alto, CA. You will assist anesthesiologists, residents, and nurse anesthetists in administering anesthetic procedures, while performing routine duties per department policies.

The role supports patients from infancy to geriatrics and requires meeting minimum educational and credentialing requirements. Travel placement includes comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Cer.A.T. certification preferred and may be required per state/contract.
• Graduate of an accredited program in EMT, Paramedic, RT, or AT is preferred.
• ACLS, EMT, Paramedic, RT, Medical licensing preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.

Anesthesia Technician

Pay: 1790 Week

Hours: 36.00

Location: Palo Alto, CA

The Anesthesia Technician performs a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists, residents and nurse anesthetists in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from infancy to geriatrics. Additionally, performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required




• Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) preferred and may be required per state/contract




• Medical or Science-based secondary education preferred




• Graduate of an accredited program i.e. EMT, Paramedic, RT, or Anesthesia Technology (AT) program preferred




• ACLS, EMT, Paramedic, RT, Medical, or prior HCA licensing preferred




• Current CPR if applicable




• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable




• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements




• Must be at least 18 years of age
