Job summary

MidState Medical Center in New Britain, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a team-oriented professional to coordinate and manage activities within the anesthesia department. This role ensures readiness of anesthesia machines and monitoring equipment for surgical and obstetric procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Fluent English required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages activities related to anesthesia department.
• Maintains anesthesia machines and equipment.
• Sets up operating rooms with required anesthesia and physiologic monitoring equipment for anesthesia in surgical and obstetric suites.
• Removes and cleans equipment at end of procedures (if possible) and restocks anesthesia supplies for subsequent use.
• Provides assistance to central supply as needed.
