Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the operating room team and anesthesia personnel with assigned duties. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Nurses Aid I certification, and at least one year of related experience, plus current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalency.
• Nurses Aid I certificate listed with the Division of Facility Services.
• One year experience as a Nurse Aide I or a Central Sterile Supple Technician.
• Current BLS certification.
• Possesses the ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff, and all others using proper channels of communication.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
• The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient\'s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient\'s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit\'s/ area\'s/ department\'s policies and procedures.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast\'s Standards of Excellence.
