Job summary

Hudson Regional Health seeks an anesthesia support staff member to manage supplies and equipment for safe anesthesia care across operating rooms and related suites.

You will assist in turnover and prep for cases, working closely with physicians and the anesthesia team to maintain patient safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a Surgical Services or Anesthesia environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Assist in turnover of OR, OB, and Intervention Rooms.
• Prepare anesthetics with physicians as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the head of Anesthesia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Works specific within Anesthesia, and is directly responsible for the daily management of anesthesia supplies, non-controlled substances and equipment in support of the provision of quality, safe anesthesia care.
• Also responsible for assisting in turnover of Operating Rooms, Obstetric Operating Rooms and Intervention Rooms.
• Assists Physicians as requested in preparation of Anesthetics.
• Performs all other duties as assigned and requested by head of Anesthesia or appropriate designee.

What We’re Looking For

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: Preferable in Surgical Services or Anesthesia environment.
• LICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS: Familiar with the surgical environment/equipment. Completes CPR per Hospital Policy.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Includes standing, walking, lifting patients. Occasionally must reach above head, carry medium to light equipment, stoop, pushing wheelchairs and stretchers, beds.
